Suddenly, McDonalds doesn't seem so unappetising...

by Amy Dickson

Feeling hungry? Can't be bothered making anything and just fancy heading out for a bite?

Well I'd think carefully before you choose where to go.

The manager of Chinese restaurant Saigon Saigon in Edinburgh has been fined £1,500 for the contamintion of beetles.

Environmental Heath Officers shut down the restaurant for three days after a routine health inspection and discovered the disgusting little creatures lurking throughout the premesis.

At Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday, Hahn Pham, who runs the restaurant, pled guilty to failure of the prevention of the cross contamination of beetles.

Not only will the restaurant have to pay a fine, it will also lose its desired reputation and struggle to get custom.

Well, I most definitely won't be planning a trip to Saigon Saigon anytime in the near or distant future.
